Progress Reports

In the high school courses, students will receive two progress report grades and a final grade. Progress report grades are given after six weeks and after twelve weeks.

Parents/guardians and students can meet with or contact the Middle College teachers or the administrator at any time during the semester to discuss the student's progress in their high school classes. Parents and students can review high school grades and assignments on Aeries or Canvas.

Middle College asks college instructors to provide us with a progress report for their classes. However, college instructors are not obligated to provide Middle College progress reports. Parents/guardians may not reach out to college professors and need to be comfortable with their student having greater autonomy.

College of San Mateo does not mail home progress reports or final semester grades. Instead, those grades are posted on WebSmart for students to view. Parents/Guardians: please communicate with your child for updates and/or final college course grades. College courses are added to the student’s high school transcript after final grades are posted each semester.
