Commitment and Graduate Profile
Along with the San Mateo Union High School District's Mission, Vision, and Beliefs statements, we envision an educational community where every student has the choice, agency, and support to pursue meaningful educational goals and feel confident navigating college and other learning spaces.
We attend to the whole human being by supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being while helping them develop the skills, relationships, and self-awareness needed to thrive.
We strive to create spaces where students feel safe, seen, heard, and valued, actively removing barriers created by racism, classism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, and other forms of oppression. Through a liberatory curriculum that values students’ cultural assets and centers student ownership, we empower students to shape their education and their futures.
