How to Enroll

Applications for the Spring 2025 semester are now OPEN.

Students interested in joining the Middle College program mid-year should complete this application by Friday, November 22, 2024 by 3PM.  This application requires both student and parent/guardian feedback and signatures - all of which must be completed, signed, and submitted by the deadline.  Once applications are received and reviewed, interviews will be conducted, with notifications going out by early December.

Applications for the SY24-25 are now closed.

Students still wishing to be considered for the Middle College program waitlist should contact our Program Assistant, Ms. Jordana (Nina) Garcia at jgarcia@smuhsd.org or (650) 574-6536.

The enrollment process for the 25-26SY will begin in January 2025, with visits to every comprehensive school site to all 10th grade students.  The application will open up shortly after all the site visits/presentations.

How to Enroll for Fall 2024

10th Graders: The Middle College application for Fall 2024 will open on January 22, 2024.

10th-grade students interested in learning more about Middle College are invited to shadow a group of Middle College students to learn about the program and what it's like to be a student at the College of San Mateo. Please sign up here.

Deadline to apply is February 23, 2024. 

Due to increased interest and demand, it may be necessary to implement a lottery system for the 2024-2025 junior class.  If we receive more applications than we have spots available, the lottery will take place on March 8, 2024. Students will be notified shortly thereafter.

Student presentations will take place on January 22, 2024 during PE Class. If you do not have a PE class, please contact your school counselor about attending this information session.
